Year 4 Pre-Plus (7-month)

Overview

This course is suitable for pupils who were not enrolled on the Year 4 One Year 11+ course. It is more intensive because it runs over 7 months instead of 11 months. However, we believe that the earlier a child begins preparing for the 11+ exams, the smoother their journey will be. Starting 11+ preparation in Year 4 provides more time for children to develop the confidence and skills required to pass the 11+.

This course prepares children in English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. Parents can choose from the classroom-based or the remote learning delivery method for complete flexibility, meaning it does not matter where you live in the UK.

Pupils attend weekly sessions for 2 hours and 15 minutes, with 45 minutes of homework per night. Each group is taught by a UK-qualified, experienced teacher, and a team of supervisors and classroom assistants provide one-to-one support.

Parents are invited to attend the last 15 minutes of each session to observe and receive homework information. If a parent is unable to attend, all necessary information will be available on our Parent Portal, which serves as a central hub for both parents and pupils.
