AE Tuition Partnership

How does the partnership work?

When you enrol your child on one of our courses, we warmly welcome you into our unique partnership that we share with our parents, teachers and pupils at AE Tuition. We hold the principle that a child is best positioned to achieve their full potential through a strong partnership between the teacher, parents, and pupil. This collaborative effort is dedicated to nurturing a child’s growth, sustained by ongoing commitment and communication.

Within the partnership, everyone has a role to play, and this role must carry on throughout the child’s learning:

AE Tuition’s Role (via the teacher):

  • All our teachers are experienced UK-qualified teachers, providing parents with assurance of their training and capability to teach children to a very high standard.
  • A child benefits from the support of their teacher, as well as from our classroom supervisors and classroom assistant support team.
  • Our educational materials have been tested in the classroom for over 35 years.
  • We offer detailed pupil reports on academic progress throughout the year.
  • We provide guidance and support on the grammar school admission process.

Parents’ Role:

  • Ensure consistent weekly attendance of their child.
  • Check that their child has all the necessary books with them for each lesson.
  • Encourage the child to complete weekly workbook and testbook assignments to the best of their ability.
  • Engage in the weekly routine of homework completion, marking, and addressing simple errors.
  • Note key areas of difficulty in the homework diary for further support from classroom assistants during the next weekly class.
  • Support the tuition process and motivate their child.
  • Communicate any concerns to the class teacher at any stage.

Child’s Role:

  • Commit to working hard and performing to the best of their ability.
  • Collaborate with parents and engage with the tuition process.
  • Ensure that they have the correct books with them for each lesson.
  • Show enthusiasm for learning and recognise the benefits offered by the tuition centre.
  • Strive to work independently and grow a strong study habit.
  • Engage fully in lessons and add notes to workbooks as directed by the class teacher.
  • Ask questions when uncertain and seek assistance when needed.
