Year 9

Overview

For many years, we have been providing secondary school core subjects tuition in English, mathematics, and science. The decision to offer KS3 secondary school tuition was driven by parent feedback, with many expressing a desire for their children’s AE Tuition experience to continue beyond primary education. We take pride in delivering tuition to Year 7, 8, and 9 pupils, enabling them to attain levels above the National Curriculum standard and excel in their GCSEs.

This is a one-year preparation course in English, maths and science for improvement in National Curriculum levels at Key Stage 3. However, parents do not need to enrol their child for the whole year as each subject is run for one term.

Please see below for this year’s academic timetable. Parents can enrol by term depending on which subject their child needs support with, or for the whole year. The course is taught by three subject specialists. It is designed to boost performance in these key areas of the curriculum, rather than just repeat work that is covered at school.
