Places availableThis course covers the exam requirements of grammar schools that set English and Maths only 11+ examinations by GL Assessment, CSSE (Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex) and FSCE (Future Stories Community Enterprise) for 2025.

This course comprises: –
English, concentrating on improving skills in comprehension and Technical English (grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling and vocabulary
Maths, focuses on developing skills in the four rules of number, decimals, fractions, percentages, probability, ratio, mensuration, time, symmetry, shapes, perimeter, area, volume and basic algebra
In addition, some of these schools set English exams with a creative writing element. This subject cannot be covered in the 8-month 11+ English & Maths only course due to time constraints & is also not required by all pupils. If creative writing is a requirement, we strongly advise that pupils are also enrolled on the Advanced English Summer Course (has an additional fee).
Advanced English Summer Course # (has an additional fee) – This 13-day course covers creative writing (story structure & character in depth) & more intensive work on comprehension & Technical English (grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling and vocabulary). This course is important for children who are sitting a separate English exam.

Advanced Maths Summer Course # (has an additional fee) – This 7-day course focuses on complex algebra, enhanced testing, times tables up to 20 & a complete revision programme. Children who are likely to be sitting separate maths tests will benefit from attending this course.

These summer courses can be taken over a three-week period in the summer at our Slough tuition centre.
# Summer courses go on sale in January. * 15% discount off each course booked and deposit paid by 2:30pm on Tuesday 11th February 2025. (with no exceptions)
Balance remaining to be paid by Standing Order in 7 monthly instalments of £285, to commence in January 2025 until July 2025

If the group you would like to enrol your child on is fully booked, our recommendation is to enrol your child on an alternative that has spaces available to avoid missing any sessions. Once enrolled, you will have access to our Parent Portal where you will find a wealth of information on your child’s course and where you will be able to add your child to the waiting list for an alternative group via the ‘Book a Course’ tab.
